Pub experience - amazing. Beer, game, very European atmosphere. The owner was not there, but his mother was and we were delighted by her. So friendly and chatty, very good humour and with many interesting stories to share. She made us feel like at home and we knew right away we will have to come back at least once more while we were in Hurghada.So we did, we went once more, but big part of that decision - we had a very bad food/water experience first few days in Hurghada (we reached the level of Antinal right from the third day and barely ate anything in hotel). As we were so desperate for some nice, non-arabic flavoured food, we applied for Sunday Roast at Lucas.It was amazing! It is very similar to typical Balkan Sunday Lunch, the plates were full, I barely ate a third and I was already holding my stomach :).We ate chicken version of the meal, and the meat was great. So was the cauliflower-cheese, gravy over Yorkshire pudding, some fried balls... Delicious!We finished of with browny and ice-cream, and cheesecake. Again - Delicious!I would recommend this pub to everyone who is looking for some simple west European feeling 💖

I had Sunday Roast (lamp version).Taste: Really good, it was one of the best lamp meat I ever had, the rest of the items was good as well.Quantity: Doesnt look like a lot but it will fill you up for the rest of the day since the meal comes with free dessert.The only downside was the quantity of the meat, it was quite small tbh, if anything I would prefer more meat even if it means less of the other items, specially since the meat was the best! (Were used to at least have double the meat quantity in our meals).Service: Very good service, the staff and the owner are very friendly, M.R. Luca seems like a fun person to be around.Price: Quite expensive (250 L.E + 14% tax), probably due to the high rent of the place.Would definitely recommend if you want to try European food.Would come again for the good taste but cant do anytime soon because of the high price.

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ throughout. Fantastic customer services and the food really is delicious. A fantastic and friendly welcome and atmosphere always awaits anyone. Complete with the biggest TV Ive ever seen, all live sporting events are shown regularly. A visit to Lucas pub & Grub in the grand surroundings of Hurghada Marina is definitely worth a visit.

Our favorite restaurant experience in Egypt so far! The service is exceptional and the food is great too. They understand and cater to vegans (the owners mum is vegan). We ate delicious tempura vegetables, a black bean burger, and a mango chickpea curry. They truly care about their clients having an enjoyable experience: this is real hospitality. I wish more restaurants operated like this.

So, after seeing so much feedback on this place I thought I would try it while visiting El Gouna, took the drive to Hurghada Marina. The place is set in a beautiful surrounding, friendly, and picturesque. The food IS as good as it looks! We had the Sunday roast and it’s hands down the best I have ever had. The full on taste, the quantity / portions where amazing.Thank you to Luca and the team, quick with orders, friendly and totally accommodating to all needs. I promise every time in in town, I’m coming! The locals has something special!

Long time ago that we didnt have such a bad eating experience... the shrimps were very gooey and drenched in badly smelling oil, the calamaris were chewy with way to much (old) breading and the mozzarella sticks very the ones that you can buy frozen in any supermarket... we paid more than 300 pounds for these 3 appetizers (including 2 basic drinks). I really dont understand why this place has such high reviews. Just disgusting and to avoid at any cost!!!!

Excellent place to stay and chill out in the Marina . Super caring owner : shares some jokes, talks football, even brought a blanket to my girlfriend when she was cold. The gin tonic Orange & Cinnamon was so good and refreshing. I definitely recommend this place!

It only happens a few times in your life that you walk past a cafe/pub/restaurant and think that kitchen can never be anything.... and afterward to be completely misled.That happened to me recently at LUCAS PUB & GRUB in the New Marina of Hurghada. This pub is run by Luca Mitchell who has about 15 years of hospitality experience in Egypt. Luca spoke to me and told me that he had 1 of the best cooks of Hurghada in his kitchen, I myself am also fairly experienced with the customs of Egypt, laughed it off and told him that everyone here says that. He had seen me go to his neighbor a few times who had a reasonable Thai menu. He said my cook makes much better Thai dishes ánd fresh. I looked over his shoulder at his brightly lit Pub and thought: Hes bluffing and needs business. I agreed to have the Thai cripsy Chilly curry the next day. Now it comes! It was the tastiest Thai curry Ive ever eaten ironically in an English Pub …. The next day I ate an English Breakfast with him, the same quality! Incredibly good, fresh and delicious. This Luca has a “problem” you dont expect from the outside that the food is so incredibly good and affordable. Its nice to be misled sometimes. Thank you Luca and staff for your hospitality !

Unlike most restaurants in Hurghada, here they really understand, what vegan means, and go out of their way to prepare delicious vegan food for you. Very cozy place, friendly staff, very engaged owner, and last but not least, very delicious food. Highly recommend Sunday vegan roast and Wednesday vegan grill. 5 stars!

This was the best experience ever. The food is truly outstanding, everyone there is so so so very nice, makes you feel like you are family, you can even put your own music in here. Super friendly bar with great choice of food and drinks. Feels like you local transported to a marina. We sat outside to watch the people go by and the yachts mooring right in front of us.

I popped in about a month ago with a couple of mates to get a Sunday roast dinner and watch bit of football. Sports screen is BIG! Super friendly bar, chatty staff. Luca was a welcoming host. We ended up staying until curfew... Really fun night! One tip: if youre planning to order the roast go there hungry... Its massive and properly delicious! Mate had the burger - also very tasty

Really excellent atmosphere and very attentive staff. We came with a big group with some people getting food and some just drinks. My friends loved the food and the staff were quick with our drinks- great service. Lots of separate bills but they sorted it all smoothly. I definitely recommend stopping by Lucas Pub whenever you are in Hurghada.

This place is going to be my sanctuary in Hurghada. The place is relaxing, cozy and feels like a hideout where you can enjoy some quality time hidden from the world. The guys there are polite and helpful, not to mention the English knight owning the place who made me feel like Im home. Ill definitely come back for more excellent drinks and food.

There is both inside and outside dining. Every meal I have had here has been delicious. Probably the best place in Hurghada for watching any kind of sport (huge screen inside). The staff enjoy a bit of banter also, which is great to see. Would recommend.

Such a genuine nice guy.George is head chef... He just cooks the most amazing food.If you like good old fashioned Sunday roast with homemade Yorkshire puddings and homemade stuffing this is the place to be.We have tried many roast dinners and Lucas Pub and Grub is simply the best thanks to George the chef.Also there is a large menu including steak pie, fish and chips and currys. All is prepared and cooked by George so it is all fresh and cooked to order.There is a very warming atmosphere as soon as you enter and everyone is made to feel welcome.As for sports, well there are 2 quality TVs and a super massive projector screen showing excellent quality football so wherever you are sat you can watch in HD quality.Definitely the place to be... We have heard a lot of this Restaurant located at the Hurghada Marina, and we decided to try it. It was the right decision. The food was amazing, one of the best Beef filets in Hurghada, including amazingly done home made French Fries. Garlic sauce is perfect. Great Service, great chef, and very pleasant owner!!

AMAZING FOOD / To the people from around the world, get yourselves here for AMAZING english pub grub and other foods.We was recommended Lucas by a friend of ours who was also staying in Hurghada.Last week we decided to go and get some proper english grub down us, so on a Sunday we arrived, Luca and his partner Kylie welcomed us with open arms.We pre-ordered our Sunday lunch by whats app to help the chef be prepared on what meats to have freshly cooked etc... When the roast arrived, me and my wife dug straight into a huge plate food of meat, yorkshire puds, the lot. OMG... words cant describe the taste, so therefore get to LUCAS BAR and ASAP. I never knew there was a British Bar in Hurghada (there are places that claim in be an English Pub) but this one is the real deal.A newly refurbished Pub in the heart of the marina with a fabulous view.We decided to venture out of our hotel to try the food after reading about the place online. It definitely was not a disappointment with extremely reasonable prices. We had the steak, which was by far the best steak weve had in Egypt, we also had the Bangers and Mash which was spot on and shared a pot of giant shrimps which did not disappoint at all.The owner (Luca) did everything to make us feel welcome, staff are incredibly friendly and the Gin Menu was fantastic. By the end of the evening Id managed to taste every gin on the menu. It was great! We had such a laugh and we will do every effort to support the owners with their new venture in these strange times. Also, the bar and staff fully respect COVID rules and the place is immaculately clean - which is great for peace of mind!We will also be taking our kids along to their kids Halloween party as it seems no other place in the city has made such an effort as they have, and their thought for detail to include everyone is fantastic. We will be joining the adult Halloween themed dinner the next day in costume and we look forward to dancing whilst Luca DJs

My wife and I are confirmed Anglophiles. So it was with a sense of anticipation that we stepped into Luca’s Pub and Grub, accompanied by my sister. To cut to the chase, our experience far exceeded our expectations. Not only did we verify first-hand the truth of all the raving reviews that rightly earned this establishment a well-deserved 5-star status, but we had the pleasure of receiving the top professional and personal attention of Mr Luca himself, and his chef, Mr George. Our order: bangers and mash, smothered chicken with mushroom, and fish and chips all came with a taste of England, a delight for the eyes and a feast for the taste buds. Providing the classic Sarson’s Malt Vinegar on the table just shows how far attention to details can go. Last but not least, the bill was very reasonable compared to an English bill of the same orders. Delighted to have had a breath of England on Egyptian soil.

If you’re dreaming of homemade British food there is no other place to go in fact it’s the only place to go and on Sundays you can even get your traditional Sunday roast pork included the staff chef and owner Luca are amazing with a warm greeting you really feel like you’re home we have been here through lockdown in U.K. and every Sunday we are here we love it and I’m sure you will to also the added bonus is you have the screens for your entertainment as well this place is for than 5 stars
