Quiet and warm atmosphere, the stuff were very friendly, the food was beautifully presented, though taste wasnt any special not to mention its pretty expensive, however the dessert was amazing.

I can’t say that service was at its best, but the location was good, they have outside area which was romantic some how , food was ok. But the best was location.

Food was served cold (chicken mushroom platter) , waiter was wearing mask on his chin, instead of properly wearing it. Was expecting a better experience for sure. They do serve a vegeterian menu which is a plus.

Very decent and cozy Swiss restaurant.The decorations and the music give you a sense of the European atmosphere.They have an amazing vegan menu of appetisers, main dishes, desserts and drinks. They also serve alcohol.Their vegan Om Ali is beyond amazing. It comes hot and fresh, full of nuts and raisins.Their vegan cappuccino and Nescafé are good too.Staff are professional.It’s a bit overpriced tho.Everything about this place is good and authentic.

An authentic touch of elegance in todays plastic world.This place is known for its fantastic French pastries and sweets. Waiters will greet you by name of you are a frequent visitor.If you will not go there for the great food, maybe you will consider working there in the decent quite atmosphere.This is one of my best places in Cairo.

I went to a new resto. in my city. The coffee shop is located in the north. It is so nice coffee shop, it has a modern style and the tables have a great looking. Many customers were there, and the workers were busy that day. The have a huge menu with many kinds of drinks. The coffee shop also has some sandwiches and a menu for dinner and lunch. x

This is a great restaurant that took over in the 70s from the (oh so famous ... Homemade Cakes). The Swiss chain of restaurants has gloriously kept its name high across the years (and decades) and its certainly an achievement that anyone would be proud to boast, given the difficulty of finding cooking ingredients matching the level of cuisine you know your customer is expecting each time he/she walks in.The shine is tainted with rust: rusty rustic interiors, rusty patrons (not so sure), rusty staff, rusty menu, rusty cutlery (can it be ??).

A Swiss restaurant. The menu honestly didnt interest me at all I even thought to change the place. However, I stayed and ordered the Beef Stroganoff, the meat was w bit hard and chewy but the taste was good. It came with a white rice on the side, my colleague ordered something else which was also good.The decor is a bit out dated but thats understandable because they said the restaurant is a 40 years old place, many seating areas for smoking and non smoking.They also have a salad bar but it is a one time visit only.When you get it in the place has a desserts counter which made me doubt is it a restaurant or just a coffee shop.The staff was really helpful and nice. Around if you needed anything but not around to annoy you.The pictures below is not the main course menu, there is still many items on their list

Such a nice place with very professional staff. They have a variety of local drinks to choose from. But only two options of wine if your having glasses not a whole bottle. The food is delicious specially their sausages. They have an outside garden they renovated which is pretty nice. Prices are average.

In general I like the place, it reminds me of the Greek tavernas that I love. But even they tend to keep this old rustic style they could make it bit better. The downside is that the menu for food is very limited, I always struggle to find something to eat there. I dont mind to have small menu but with good choice at least. But the prices for the wine & beer are more expensive than any other place. I know that the tax is already included in the price but anyway they are more pricey. And I dont get the logic in this since they dont offer anything more than any other good place around. The service is always great.

Located in the heart of al korba just beside zooba . a lovely restaurant with a european ambiance. Old style restaurant followed by a quite small but cozy bar. They serve the best mille feulle in town also we tried steak and lasagna and they were really good. Staff is very friendly and the place is very recommended

I went to this place for dinner with a friend. The interior design is nice, our table was in the backyard it was calm and cosy. I was surprised to realize while I was ordering that it is actually the same restaurant in charge of the cantine at my workplace. I basically found the same dishes, at much higher prices. Food is average, good for a work cantine, ordinary for a restaurant with this price range. Service was very kind, even the waiters were the same actually, the same I saw during my lunch break which was a bit disturbing.

Le Chantilly, is not another restaurant it is an institution. If you are looking for a place just to eat in Heliopolis dont go there. Le Chantilly is an original, it looks, feels, serves its food as it did 30 years ago. The food is good, the service is good the restaurant clean just as it was 30 years ago. I know of only a handfull of outlets that have been able to maintain their personality over so many years. Congratulations to the management and staff for this achievement.Keep it up and we will return for many years to come......

Its a lovely place. I enjoy going there. The staff is professional, the people are quite lovely and theres always something interesting on the menu. The outdoors space is great. Indoors tables are beautifully lit and the way or laid out somehow allows for private conversations.

Although I went with zero expectations, have to say that food was not bad. I had lamb shank that was served with rice and vegetables. it was quite tasty I have to say. They have outdoor area with few tables. I love the interior it kind of feels retro and 80s ... it gives special vibe. ah ... forgot to mention you can get beer with you meal here.

One of my absolute favorite places. As soon as you enter, the smell of freshly baked goods will put you right at home. The staff are friendly and polite, the food tastes great and the menu has a nice variety of Swiss and Egyptian foods for all meals and snacks throughout the day.

I rated 3 stars only because it has become way too expensive. Payed 90 egyptian pounds just for a cup of turkish coffee and a glass of lemonade. I understand the company needs to make some profit but they are making almost 200% of profit.

One glass of Omar khayam wine is more expensive than a full bottle from a shop. This is no value for money. Too overpriced for the experience if offers.

It was a glorious place in the 80s and 90s but I think it needs some catching up to do. The food was so basic....more like club food not a fancy restaurant. We chose fish with lemon sauce and grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. The presentation and taste were not what I expected from past experiences. Good service. The outer area facing the street is well lit and ventilated but not the inner one where the place gets soo hot and worse when people start to smoke cigarettes.Other than that its a lovely place and i enjoyed it.

Just overall really outdated and worn out. Nothing unique or striking in the menu, floors all worn out and losing their colours, food is unexceptional at best. I get that its trying to stay true to its name and not change too much about what made it great in the first place, but this place will die eventually if they dont change things up a bit. Needs to close fkr a month and change their floors and rusting light switches, change up the menu and adapt to the current times.
