Wasn’t the Hijri months the ones approved by the Muslims starting from the first month of the year, which is the month (Muharram) depending on the lunar year, because of his saying:(The number of months with God is twelve)? And he said: (They ask you about the new moons, say they are times for people and Hajj)? The new moon is the beginning of each month with the crescent moon.Muslims continued to use this date until the arrival of the eighteenth century, at the end of which colonialism brought with it the Gregorian date and imposed it on Muslim countries.
