Fast and efficient PCR test for travel. Walked in at 9am, had the swab and returned same day at 9pm to collect my results. The results are also sent visa text message, but to get the stamp from the medical centre you must collect. The test is 2000 egyptian pounds for foreigners - it is more expensive but worth the extra cost to avoid stress at other centres. I tried to go to central health laboratories centre for my PCR before this and it was awful. Huge queues, no way of paying with cash or a foreign visa/mastedcard. They give you a deposit slip in arabic to go to a bank to make payment and come back - I gave up eventually it was too much hassle and no assistance from anyone. Dont waste your time and just go straight to almokhtabar.

I had a very Bad experience in this Lab. People in reception is full of attitude. My husband and I went to do PCR test there. They made us to fill all the form online. We asked for WIFI as that is an online application. They said they dont use Wifi but we can see the router hanging on the wall.They knew very well that we dont understand local language, felt like they were mocking and laughing at us.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF.As we applied through Pure Health, price was fixed so they were less interested to do our test as that was online payment and I have heard they are charging a fortune for those who are paying them directly.The nurse who was taking the sample was using same gloves for everyone. And she is inefficient at her work. I have done PCR Atleast 5 times before, it was not at all painful as it was there. She was just digging the swab in our nose. I dont know whether she actually got the sample or not.

Laboratory laboratories have many branches in Cairo and Egypt. This assessment is for the Qasr Al-Aini branch in order to check the required corona before travel. This branch is on the first floor and requires stairs (there is an elevator, but I dont know if it works or not). The treatment of the staff is more than wonderful and professional, and they advised me to come early in the morning (9 am) so that I receive the result at 7-10 at night. The receptionists were excellent and accurately copied all the passport information in the report.In fact, I received a message at 6:30 pm with the result and went to the branch to receive the sealed result. There is a bathroom for women and men to carry out the necessary tests, a waiting room and a room for the nurse.

Very tested, bad at wiping and handling, there is only one nurse who works on reception and wiping and morals are bad

A purpose in lack of professionalism with lack of confidence in the results because the principles are not punitive
