Didn’t struggle to get an appointment, was told they will call a day before to confirm appointment,they did...l noticed that the hospital is very clean, the service at the reception was good. The wait time was relatively short for 30 minutes before we saw the doctor, which is very rare in Egyptian hospitals. When we were referred to the lab it did not take us long to hand in samples. So far so good.I will edit this review after a week as I will be having an operation at this hospital.My operation went well. My gynecologist did a very good job.The room was nice and clean (was admitted for about 9hrs. But there was dust on the table and under so we had to call house keeping to clean.Highly recommend SGH🙌🏾

By far the worst hospital we have been to! Unprofessional reception staff and bad service. We called to get a same day appointment and we were told by the reception that they were fully booked but they insisted we show up in the hospital and that they will make room for us between patients. We again made it clear that it is okay if they dont have any availabilities and we can easily just schedule at any other clinic/hospital. They again told us no way and granted they will get us in to see the required doctor. Upon arrival at the hospital approximately at 6 PM the reception kept asking us to wait for 15 minutes so they can register us. 15 minutes passed, and another , and another , until it was 8 Pm until they finally agreed to check us in. The reception then told us that the doctor would take us right in immediately after we checked in at 8. We  waited in the waiting room patiently but as we expected, nothing but more and more patients going in and out ( keeping in mind there were quite a few no shows which we could have easily replaced) . We then again asked the reception if it is going to be a long wait from now and again only 15 minutes and well call you in . This kept going until we were the last ones in the entire hospital and finally got in at 10:30 PM(by the way hospital closes at 10 PM). Also to add to this mess, the last few patients in the waiting rm(us included), all were on the waiting list , however there were patients that went in before us whom we clearly saw check in AFTER us. Reception then claimed it was the systems fault and whichever name order the system puts, they follow. Now what on Earth is this?! My definition of system and orderliness is absolutely not what I experienced here. Being sick and staying in a waiting room from 6 PM to 10:30  PM and being told lies and given false hope that I will go in in 15 minutes is complete ignorance, disrespect and unprofessionalism.

This is a review of my awful experience at the Saudi German Hospital in Cairo. In short everything there is Horrible.I do not even know where to start .. for the money they charge you , it is the worst service ever, the worst value ever, worst administration staff ever , worst patient’ relations ever , worst communications dept. ever, worst food , mediocre medical service at best . You cannot even reach any doctors nor nurses on the phone , nor in person at the hospital . If you call their hot line , a telephone operator replies very politely and then asks you 1001 questions : Who are you ? Who do you want to speak to ? Why do you want to talk to them? Who is your in-hospital patient ?If you ask to talk to a doctor or a nurse , forget it , the telephone operator will never connect you to one. You will also have to provide to the telephone operator all the details of the medical case of your patient?! The telephone operators will never connect you to anyone.Now to the administrative process and customer satisfaction: IT DOES NOT EXIST . Any issue you may encounter ( and I encountered many of them ) they will just look at you and shake their heads nodding in agreement ?!! And then they continue with their lousy service as if you have never complained. They simply do not care.They have a printed list of names and phone numbers of managers including even the owner ! The best part is you when you call them, they listen and then still nothing . I even called the owner of the hospital one time and he did call the a physician who is a manager in the hospital and yet nothing changed .The food is horrible just disgusting and always cold and always late .To medical service !! What a joke !!! They have physicians who are called registrars ?!! They are like assistants to the consultants ( who are the real doctors) . Most of Those young registrars or assistants are all rude , impolite, ignorant or mediocre and above all they have such a stupid attitude! They always refuse talking to the patient or his family . Ofcourse we are not good enough for them to talk to us !! Bunch of idiots and mediocre medical staff . The nurses again do not talk to you. The only person you can talk to are the nurse aids !!The senior consultants that I saw are decent doctors and they treat you with respect and dignity . Again they do not talk to you on the phone , except for one who was polite and courteous enough to give me a WhatsApp number for communications.They put my mother in the COVID ward for 7 days and for the first 6 days not even one pulmonary specialist bothered to see her!! That is Because they said my mother was asymptomatic?!! They made the decision not to waste any time on her . At the end I insisted on taking my mom out of this horrible hospital despite that her illness . We just could deal with those mediocre people any longer. Even on The day of the discharge they made me wait 4 hours !! Yes 4 hours to do some paper work and still they could not finish it and I have to go back to pick up the rest of it!! . On the day of discharge , The so called registrars physicians even refused to talk with me about about after hospital care for my sick mother?? Unbelievable rudeness and total disregard to patients’ welfare.They are excellent in one thing : Taking your money!! . They charge in the Covid ward about 23K Egyptian pounds per night for this lousy service !! .DO NOT ago there !!

The best and the only international standard hospital in Cairo, Egypt.Part of the Mayo Clinic network.I stayed for 6 days during my ordeal with COVID-19.Very pleasant staff and highly trained and compassionate nurses, but once in while had language issues with some staff not familiar with English.

This hospital is like a hotel! Amazing how everything moves so smoothly! Doctors and nurses are kind and helpful. Rooms are gorgeous for a hospital!

Wont be forgetting Muhammed the front desk customer relations officer who helped me since the morning till I left the hospital. Professional service all the way, just quite disappointed with some security and a few rude desk officers who couldnt help with directions. Highly recommended.

What say here when I came to perform a covid test staff were throwing me to each other untill after 40 minutes i got the information that i need to open a hospital file. Receiving the results was not less painful had to wait for an hour while they get it stamped,And there was no patient traffic.

Don’t recommend this hospital, maybe the place is clean and well organized… but if you consider doctors efficiency, for sure it is very bad.I did hemorrhoids surgery a year a go, and they recommended to go with the stapler technique, Within this period From day one after surgery till now and I am struggling.. Their surgery failed or I even doubt that they didn’t do it well..I don’t recommend Dr. Nader Abdelhamid in the surgery clinic.Another thing, the surgery time was 9:00Am and the postponed it to 5:00PM after makes me waiting all this time at hospital..

Unfortunately building like hotels but , doctors are very arrogant and have a lack of dealing with patients and miss communication emergency is just a small hall for all coronavirus patients positive with negative medical service is not as expected

First experience to me was disappointing I went for a 24-hours holter and after surviving the whole day with the Leads and the electrode they told me that it only recorded the first  6 hours; oh my god after all this 24-hours this is what I get .they asked me to come back again to repeat it of course I will not do the same experience again I refunded my money ;will not recommend it for anyone

Very bad experience as usual ... Had to wait 2 hours to see the doctor despite prior appointment ... When things heated up I escalated to (Khaled) Help desk office who didnt provide any useful info same as the 2 nurses who are running the pediatric clinic, they keep shrugging their shoulders saying they dont knowI waited from 12:05 PM (my appointment was for 12:15pm) till 01:41 PM to see the doctor and the numbers were not moving during the course of 1 hour the doctor ( Rania Ismael) didnt even call a single patientDuring this time I tried to contact the hospital GM , duty manager and many other numbers which the hospital advertises and encourage to call in case of problems and all numbers were switched off.I ended up calling SGH Group CEO (Sobhi Batterjee) who answered after almost 5 or 6 calls and called a guy called (Dr Sherif) later one I discovered he is the Hospital GM and thr least i can say is he is a very impolite and unprofessional person, he just defends and is not ready to listen, he thinks he is always Mr Right and his system always works ...All in all it was a waste of time talking to this person called Sherif and I told this to him face to face ....To add salt to the wound, the Doctor failed to upload the prescription 4 times on the pharmacy system and I had to go back and forth between the clinic and the pharmacy till it got uploaded to the end..Having used SGH Dubai for over 4 years, all I can say is SGH Cairo is nothing compared to SGH Dubaiالمستشفي السعودي الالماني في القاهره هي سبه في جبين شبكه مستشفيات السعودي الالماني...

All the stuff are rude, unkind, unhelpful and disrespectful. I asked PCR test reception, one staff said it’s ground floor,then I couldn’t find it on there, another staff said it’s clinic on the first floor, after got into clinic the staff said need to prepare a paper at reception in advance,then went to main reception, she said it’s lab reception not here... Totally terrible customer service. The worst hospital ever! I took PCR test to take Emirates flight to Dubai because it’s authorized by Emirates and there’s branch in Dubai however their certificate was not able to check in , important QR code was not included. I came back to explain this but they didn’t know about this necessary information also didn’t apologized at all. Even it authorized hospital not professional! Don’t be tricked by fancy facility and brand name!

Gyno Clinic Dr Sarah Safwat lacks bedside manner and empathy as a doctor, responding with a judgemental tone dismissing my concerns and requests, making you feel like a bother and having done something bad for needing help and advice. A rather unpleasant experience for a highly personal and sensitive health matter.

Excellent hospital and service, very clean. Depends on the check up you need to do, they give you a new gown.When you enter in the hospital, since you are in Europe. You will find the main reception in front of you, almost every one speak English. If is your first visit at the German Hospital, you need to have the copy of your Passport, they will give you a card with your number. All the analysis or test you do will be saved on their archive.There is a big parking just for the hospital.

I have been to the dentistry clinic today and have the flowing remarks:1. Queuing on the clinics counters shoud be resolved.2. I have been deealing with the SG hospital for 4 years, today was the first time to see the filthy condition of the public toilets every where on the ground floor!!! It seems there is no control on cleanliness and no maintenance scheme.

This is what you will find when you enter the emergency section in the hospital. I went to the hospital on Wednesday morning 7:00 am and I had the vomiting and diarrhea case which is level 3 and actually yes it only took 15 minutes for someone to show up and measure the blood pressure and the temperature. But then I had to wait another 15 minutes for the doctor but that was somehow ok because I could still endure the pain.On Thursday, I arrived at the hospital at 1:30 and tried to alarm everyone that I’m not capable to wait at all and I literally begged everyone not to go through the same process specially that I was there the day before and came back for a real cure. However, my mom, husband and brother had to go after each person to call the doctor who showed up at 3:00 pm!!!!!! Which is one hour and a half and I don’t think this is the right way to deal with emergency by any means!The doctor arrived while I was literally shouting out of pain to ask “why are you crying?!” And I had to go through the same story I narrated the day before 3 or 4 times. The doctor then asked my husband to get me a medicine from the pharmacy without writing it down neither at that time nor at the end while leaving. And yes, I had the same prescription of the day before while leaving and when I asked why am I having it again they told me the doctor said just stop one of them!!!! I had to go back and ask for an updated prescription while waiting for the reception to finish my papers.I’m so disappointed! Please train your staff to deal with emergencies or don’t accept them.Worth mentioning I went to the clinic twice before and didn’t have to wait one hour and a half!Thank you

This hospital is a very bad hospital.It looks good on the inside but they do not really care about the patient.I was here 3 times for a check up with dr gihan sayeed, first she was good and we liked here and the staff,After our first visit they started to change behavior and we could feel that they really just cared about the money that we paid.Dr gehan talked very fast and didn’t give us the time we really wanted at our visits.They told us to book a revisit ( it’s free)When we came to the reception they said that’s we could not book at the moment and hade to book via phone.(because they did not have the doctors sceguale.)When we called and whanted to book they said we have to pay again.I explain to them that we tried to book via the recipeion but he started to screem at me that I have to pay 600egp.My husband called them and explained and they said sorry you not supposed to pay for the revisit, we will send an text sms that will work as an eveidence, but they did not send anything.Again when he called them the changed their mind and said you will pay 600.They are so unprofessional staff.I really do not recommend any one to visit that hospital.

It was shokinig to me, it was really a very bad experience, careless nurses in ICU, careless medical management, careless annual or monthly cleaning, with bugs and flies everywhere, it is a fraud hospital, it hunts you head with expenses.This fly was in ICU and the same many in the entrance of the hospital.

Be Aware of this hospital!They are after money and don’t really care of the patient.The receptionist screamed at my wife at the phone.They lied to me and talk very unprofessional and wanted me to pay 600 more raven doe they said it’s a free revisit to dr gehan!I have cancelled our bookings at this hospital and we will choose another hospital.Doctor gehan sayeed is not really giving you from her time, and making you feel comfortable.She speak very fast and we told her many time that we are tourist and want her so slow down a-bit but she just repeated her fast talk.I don’t recommend her as a delivery doctor.You should also read what others have written about her, that she left the delivery room due to a economical conflict between her and the hospital.the patient was without care for 24 hours!Who would want that as a doctor.You will pay big money for poor service.Find a better hospital or try to not get sick on your visit in Cairo.

I went to Emergency department with my kids after he hits his head at school and he fall down I wait for one hour 10 minutes without anybody to ask or talking care of my son and hospital team was very careless very rude and not at the level of the hospital at all .no one start to pay attention to us until I start to ask about the manager of the place and shouting in the team to give any attention or even to let me go to another hospital to take care of my son 11 years oldIt’s very low level of service unexpected from 5 stars hospital as the fees we pay is not acceptable with this very low level of professional attentionI don’t recommend this hospital for emergency at all

The facility is very clean and well organized. The staff were pleasant. They were on time and it was easy to book an appointment. The doctor, a pain specialist, was disappointing as she made several ignorant comments against the American medical system and seemed unaware of side effects of the medications she was supposed to be a specialist in. I would come back to the facility any time. Their score is a 5. The doctor was terrible, and I will not talk with her again. Her score is a 0.

My experience with emergency was amazing, I didnt wait till they finish the papers, they took me for the diagnosis and finished everything later on by themselves. Only one concern is that I waited long time till I get the medical report.

Well, the receptionists act friendly but the staff are extremely slow, unprofessional and definitely useless. Emergency was a whole different animal I stayed there for almost three hours waiting for my turn and then I decided it will be easier to go to a different hospital.P.S: if you have to go there do not accept all the medication they offer because some of it will be just to increase your bill.

My mom had dialysis sessions for only 2 month in that hospital and the plumbing in the dialysis unit was always broken and something always went wrong. Plus she only went there to use good medical chemicals( bicarb) not acetic acid but they used the acetic acid later on! And when she asked them not to use it they refused. And she had fistula in her arm to make the dialysis sessions from but the nurses are not professional and the they caused clots in her arm and it wasnt working any longer. Mom died died from cystic fibrosis as a complications from the acetic acid they used in her dialysis sessions

This place is an absolute joke. If this is one of the best hospitals in Egypt, I feel truly sorry for most Egyptians. My advice to you is please do not ever get sick. Mostly likely you will be hit and killed in the car park before ever entering the brightly lit atrium. This parking chaos mirrors exactly what you are about to find within. Before you see a doctor, you will be sent from office to office in a tour than will take hours and cover miles and miles of floor. En route, you will encounter dozens of uninformed, disinterested, confused staff who regularly contradict each other and give affirmative, definitive instructions that are plainly wrong. Welcome!In short, the place seems as if it is run by bored, unorganized, lazy individuals who have no interest in working there. The sheer lack of care or interest with which people work is heartbreaking.You will pay top dollar for a budget experience and poor medical and excessively poor administrative standards. This hospital is roughly 50 years behind anything in Europe.I want to extend my sincere apologies to anybody who has to go here in the future. The gateway to hopelessness awaits you at the Saudi German.
