I am VERY dissatisfied with my Air Arabia experience. We were not allowed to take our flight from Milan to Cairo, flight E5 543 at 12:40 pm. The Air Arabia staff told us that our proof of COVID vaccine was not acceptable although it met ALL the requirements listed on the Air Arabia website. I am a United States citizen and was vaccinated in NYC. I have been using my official CDC vaccine form as proof of vaccine. It has been accepted everywhere. Yesterday at the airport we presented the original paper proof of vaccine on the official CDC vaccine form. In addition, we presented the NYC app that shows the vaccine proof with a QR code along with my name, date of birth, and date of vaccine expiration, per the Air Arabia website requirements. We were then told by the counter staff to wait for the supervisor to approve our vaccine proof. The supervisor came over and was extremely rude. He told us that because our vaccine proof was not the same format as the Italian proof, we could not accept it. This does not check out with official policies regarding the vaccine. He also kept telling me I needed to show him the date of my second dose and I kept trying to explain to him that I received the Johnson and Johnson 1 dose (listed as an accepted vaccine) and he did not know what this was. He was unfamiliar and uneducated about the vaccine rules and regulations and his bad attitude and unprofessionalism cost us our flight and a lot of pain and suffering. He refused to engage in a conversation about the vaccine or update us on our status as passengers waiting for the flight. We sat by the counter for three hours waiting to find out if we could board the flight to Cairo. There was no Air Arabia customer service available at the Milan Bergamo airport. We also tried to talk to the info desk at the airport, and they were unhelpful. There were no COVID resources at the airport either, including any official information or resources to confirm what the airline was telling us. The manager at Air Arabia kept telling us he was “waiting to hear from Egypt” regarding if our proof of vaccine was accepted. We approached him multiple times to try and resolve the issue and every time he walked away from us in the middle of the conversation and gave us no updates. I even called the US embassies in Italy and Egypt to try and get some help to allow us to board the flight. I also called several of the Air Arabia numbers listed on the app and there was no answer at any of them. This man working for air Arabia and all of the counter staff at Milan Bergamo airport were incredibly unhelpful. They did nothing for us and just ignored us as the hours passed and we missed our flight. We also asked if we could reschedule our flight or get some help getting a refund. They ignored us again. They simply packed up and closed down the desk, and were left with no flight. We were not even treated like customers. They treated us like garbage, and in addition to ruining our entire day and trip, it was extremely offensive and disrespectful as an experience. After we missed our flight, we were forced to get an expensive hotel room in Milan, which was quite difficult as it was last minute during fashion week. We also had to pay for transportation to the city AND book an additional flight to Egypt. We also paid for a 82 euro PCR test because we did not want to risk missing another flight the next day. This whole experience was expensive, unacceptable, inexcusable and extremely traumatic. Air Arabia was one of the worst airline experiences I have had in my life.
The worst ever , the rudest crew and the poorest time management you will ever experience

Love it
Helpful and support
Great hospitality
The deal is good, and the important thing is that one knows the details of the ticket that he buys. I mean, in terms of amending or canceling the reservation, is there a fine or not, and he knows everything
Administrative headquarters only, and there is no direct interaction with the publicUpdate: There is currently dealing with the public from 9 to 5, except for Friday and Saturday
Flying is not okay, but it serves the meal sandwiches and the flight is international
