Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University is a government educational and research institution that provides educational programs in nursing sciences to provide scientifically and practically qualified graduates, produce scientific research, and support the health needs of the community.The Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University seeks to be one of the best colleges of nursing locally, regionally and internationally, and to contribute effectively to the improvement of the health system in Egypt.

The Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University was established in 1994 by Presidential Decree No. 287 of 1994, and it was called before that the Higher Institute of Nursing.In the academic year 1994/1995, female students were received by transfer from other institutes, and they numbered 27 students. Transformers were accepted and studies began on November 5, 1994.The first batch of students graduated in the 1997/1998 academic year, May (17) students, and November (4) female students.The college accepts high school students with a scientific department.Republican Decree No. 200 of 2000 AD was issued to amend the name of the Higher Institute of Nursing to the College of Nursing.The study period is four years in addition to a compulsory clinical training year. A graduate is not entitled to practice the profession until after the completion of the training year.The student is trained during the training year in hospitals and medical centers of the university and under the supervision of the College of Nursing and University Hospitals.Degrees:1. Bachelors degree in Nursing Sciences.2. The degree of diploma of the elderly sitter unit.3. Masters degree in nursing sciences for each specialty in the college departments.4. Masters degree in infection prevention and control by credit hour system.5. Masters degree in evidence-based health care.6. Doctorate degree in nursing sciences for each specialization of the college departments.Degrees awarded by the Technical Institute of Nursing of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University:1. Diploma of the Technical Institute of Nursing.2. Diploma in the bridging program to obtain a diploma in the Technical Institute of Nursing.3. Diploma in the specialized program in nursing.
