I am so fond of the textile traditional market at Al-Ghouryaa. The price is so affordable and I can find a good deal of different types. Unfortunately the place is so narrow where I can barely walk freely.

Its authentic Egyptian place where you can attend the sofy dance show ( whirling dervish ) & enjoy the Egyptian atmosphere

I loved the place. Its historical and authentic with really lovely little shops inside where you can get some lovely art works, like some fake necklaces and others. The only draw back was that it was a bit crowded because it was Friday. Very limited parking spaces and only outside.

A nice historical place, have almost everything you need to bye at low prices, but you also have to negotiate prices with sellers to even have better prices. Very crowded unfortunately, better to go on Fridays or Sundays , but only few stores are open on Sundays

Safery and security is very high in the whole areaUber is the best way to get there, just be aware that traffic is too crowded and also be careful with your belongings walking there.

Its fun to go shopping along elghourya where one can find all stuff needed For ur home .....linings, towels, bed throw up, covers, blankets ..... one can also find yarns ,fabrics, clothes for home & outdoors....kitchenware...all you need is money of course ,patience & some bargaining skills! Its a bit crowded & stuffy there ....if you are interested you can enjoy the many historic items along the street; its back allies

Very crowded place

My friends and i went for the Tanoura night show, beautiful drums and dancing. the shows starts at 7:30 but be sure to stand in line by 6:15 as the tickets get sold out pretty early!

This huge complex consists of a khanqah, mausoleum, sebil-kuttab, mosque and madrasa and is located at the Fahhamin Quarter, al Muizz li-Din Allah street in Cairo, Egypt. The structure lies on both sides of the al Muizz li-Din Allah street, with the congregational mosque-madrasa built on the western side, and the khanqah-mausoleum-sabil-kuttab on the eastern side

Great historical sites and great market too but do visit more than one shop because prices can vary greatly
