My wife and I have been going to SG for 20 years, a long with a group of 4 other couples. A good setting, very friendly staff who are always ready to deliver anything ordered; regardless of it being part of the menu!Relatively cheap but bears very precious memories

Ive been a regular at SG for over 5 years now, along with so many other friends. Its my main and favorite hang-out in Cairo, and certainly the best cafe on this side of town. The food is delicious, the Shisha unparalleled anywhere in Cairo, and the drinks amazing. All is very reasonably priced in comparison to similar places. The ambiance is very pleasant and laid back. Staff are awesome and always ready to serve with a smile. The cafe is is open 24/7, so you can go anytime day or night. Sitting outside in the summer nights or playing cards inside in winter with friends are among Cairos unmatched pleasures for me. An important characteristic which I always admired about SG, is that the general atmosphere at the cafe is very respectful of women customers at all times, whether they are sitting alone, in women-only or in mixed groups (which, lets be honest, cannot be said of all places in Cairo). It is also a very friendly place for non-Egyptians and lots of Arab customers hang out here too and enjoy a very courteous relation with regulars. Everyone feels welcome. The cafe has several large TVs which show all important local, European, African and International football matches and sports events. The experience of watching football at SG on crowded match days while puffing away at your Shisha or sipping your drinks is one of a kind. In short, an amazing place that I hold very dear, and would wholeheartedly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a laid-back night out in Cairo, alone or with friends.

Very good place.. With very good atmosphere..... High quality beverages and shisha... Not so expensive... Always have a free space to sit and watch matxhes or TV... Very good for couples and friends gathering

Absolutely trash!! The staff has rude people in it! Totally unprofessional. They brought me a wrongful receipt and were upset I didnt shut my mouth over the matter.

The outdoor area is nice, the place is good for watching sports but the shisha is not good.

Im a regular customer since 1999! So definitely I feel it like home with tons of memories
