Nice market, busy on weekends, sell lots of things from curtain materials, bedsheets to second hand clothes, bras etc. The prices are good just bargain. Though its always busy but its very safe and near main road so worrying about transportation from the market back home. The boys in the shops always ask for tip which i dont give.

Open street market, mainly buy bed linens, all sorts of fabric , curtains, dress material and furniture material. Other clothes items are cheap quality and price. Go as low as you want with prices till you reach your budget, its still cheaper than known fabroc shops. It is safe and there is a parking area on the I side near shops and the church area. Take a taxi or walk from zamalek. Not all shops open on Sundays

Very cheap locally produced clothes, mostly womens, also kind of like a thrift shop kind of place, soiree fabrics, and just fabrics in general. Im amazed by the kindness of the sellers. You could bargaim prices but everythings cheap anyways... Its usually very crowded and narrow passageways, not child friendly. Such a hassle if you have a kid with you.

The centre of all textile trading in cairo, variety of options at much cheaper prices, but dont be shy too haggle Ive seen prices being brought down to half the original offers.
