This mosque is one of the oldest and largest mosques in the village of Zawiyat al-Naywa Baba. It was named by the name of God-knowing Sheikh Abi Al-Barakat and we heard that it was with the men of Mujahideen of the Islamic era in the march to Al-Bahnasa fortress in northern Upper Egypt. This fortress was one of the largest fortresses at the time, Sheikh Abu Barakat in this place and buried by Gods mercy on the martyrs of Islam
