Al-Busairi was born in the village of “Dilas” one of the villages of Beni Suef in Upper Egypt, in the first of Shawwal 608 AH = March 7, 1213 AD to a family whose roots go back to the “Sanhaja” tribe, one of the Berber tribes, which settled in the desert south of the Far Maghreb, and he grew up in the village of “Bosir” close to His birthplace, and then moved to Cairo, where he received the sciences of Arabic and literature.Al-Busairi received knowledge from an early age; He memorized the Qur’an in his childhood, and he studied with a number of notables of his time, as well as a large number of well-known scholars, including: Abu Hayyan Atheer al-Din Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Gharnati al-Andalusi, and Fath al-Din Abu al-Fath Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Amri al-Andalusi al-Ishbili al-Masri, known as Ibn Sayyid al-Nass. ...and others.Imam Sharaf Al-Din Muhammad bin Saeed bin Hammad Al-Sinhaji Al-Busairi was famous for his prophetic praises, which became famous in the horizons, and were distinguished by their sweet spirit and sincere affection, the splendor of their meanings, the beauty of their portrayal, the accuracy of their words, their good composition, and the ingenuity of their systems. Indeed, it was a school for poets of prophetic praises after him, and an example for poets to follow in order to follow his example, and follow his path. Many poems appeared in the art of prophetic praises, which entertained the minds and consciences of millions of Muslims throughout the ages, but they always witnessed the undisputed leadership and mastery of Imam Al-Busairi and his mastery of this art.
