So the place is old, and you feel that throughout your stay. For example, they still use actual keys instead of key cards, the elevator looks like its from the early 2000s, and the reception desk does everything manually with actual handwritten paper as there are no computers. The room is fine, I guess. The bed was comfortable enough, and they did provide extra blankets, but they are regular consumer blankets, not hotel ones. The bathroom is again good enough, though the heater was turned off. The TV had one channel, or maybe I did not know how to operate it, and the AC remote was broken and its batteries were dead. Did not get to try the food, and did not feel like Im missing out, to be honest. The place needs renovation and modernization. Also, there was an open wifi network that did not work. On the positive side of things, though, the hotel is located in the heart of Assiut University, giving a lot of space to take walks and jog, especially late at night when it has no students in it, make sure to have your documents and your room key to show to security just in case they suspect anything, as they are not private security, but actual police personnel, and they can be a piece of work. Finally, Christmas decorations were still there, giving you an idea of how often this place is maintained.

Very nice place well organized, its my first time to visit Assuit university and stay in this guest house with such nice stuff.The AO basic course was held here for the second time from 3-6 April 2019

Modernized guest house mixing old and new. The overall feeling is one of satisfaction but only superficial, leaving the guest expecting much. Worst of all is the military academy type of breakfast, which is probably the only meal. The B&B rate is about LE 400 (about US$ 20) for Egyptians. Expect triple for foreigners.Access involves climbing Capitol type of stairs across a wide esplanade.Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are clean but somewhat old.

Big and spacious is the most befitting desciption. One feels like entering a giant monument, given the spacious esplanade and the incredible number of stairs and steps to climb.To further add to the spacious impression, vehicle access is restricted, which entails that you have to do the walking up.Inside, youre in a well kept public building. Lots of granite around.The guest house is good with attempts at luxury. Clean but not spotless.

The hall was fancy. The restaurant and food were great. The rooms are cool, but the toilet wasnt that good.

The place is very good established. People there are so professional and so friendly, so flexible as well. My train arrived 5 am in the morning, arrived to guest house 30 minutes later I found reception waiting and expecting my early coming. Room was ready that I could take a nap for two hours before starting my workshop in Assiut University. Many thanks to Prof. Dr Tarek El Gammal the president of the University for keeping such a good place in order.

This is a good place if you are visiting Assiut for teaching or university activity.The room is ok with aircondition, mini bar, shower and satellite TV.Breakfast is served per person, but is very basic. Foul (Brown beans) is the only hot dish. With some specific cheese and bread.The guest house is located inside the university vicinity. And is attached to an administrative building where trainings take place. You can have a good walk around. If you are into real walking, point your map direction to the mile- about 40 min walking one way.

One of the best hotels in Assiut ( in compare with hotels in assiut only). The hotel is located inside the Assiut university which is a great privilege since you can enjoy the services available in the university like the stadium and sport activities. Also its very safe especially for foreigners since the whole university is secured.

A 3 star hotel .. Inside Assiut University .. It has a conference center, a large restaurant .. A large and clean room .. Its prices are suitable .. The experience was not as pleasant.First, the room service is modest compared to the five stars behind the risbeshan.Second price 400 c cost per night is very much compared to the service.Third, the restaurant is very poor in terms of potential and there is no inferiority and no options. You are forced to eat certain varieties that do not exceed cheese, sweetness, jam, boiled egg, yogurt and finally a full bean dish without any additives.IV There is no internet service in the rooms and there are only in the receptions.Internet networks on your mobile phone will not work most of the time. You are almost isolated from the world in the rooms of this place except regular calls.
