Looks amazing, and best grand marble everywhere! Bed was comfortable & loved the balcony view! Glorious views of the Nile. Loved taking the boat across the river. Breakfast layout was incredible!!! Breakfast staff were helpful. At one time probably in line with the Ritz but they have let it slide. Room was not very clean, dirt & debris on the floor, shower leaked all of the floor, phone was hanging off the wall. WiFi was spotty and weak.

Stayed at the Pyramisa for a day. The staff was very kind. The rooms are a bit dated in terms of looks. The water in the shower fluctuated from cold to burning hot, and the shower tub/bathroom was a little gross. We had a Nile view which made up for it as well as weren’t spending a ton of time in the room. The staff was very accommodating for early checkin. Mustafa on staff helped arrange a car to our next destination. All in all it was what we needed at the time. The photo below is the view from our Nile View room. But if we were to return, we would probably stay at the Movenpick.

If there is a zero star that’s what this hotel deserves. We reserved and paid the hotel in October plus a dinner for two. When we checked in after a whole day tour the hotel manager, Mohammed and the assistant Safaa did not even say hello or greet us. Then they could not find our reservation even after I showed them our reservation number in paper and email. After an hour of waiting in the lobby they still did not solve my reservation issue. We had to make another reservation online and paid again. After an hour of having the room paid we were still waiting in the lobby for our room. At this time it has been an hour and halfWhile we were waiting no one from the reception desk checked or said a word to us.We finally asked a tour operator inside of the hotel lobby to help us and the front desk finally gave us a room. This can after almost 2 hours waiting in the lobby. After we enter the room, thermostat heat does not work, calling front desk from the room no one answered the phone. The room was way outdated and old.We traveled around the world and this is a humiliating experience. There are tons of other hotels in Aswan. Do not stay here, you have other choices.

We came to Aswan after Luxor because we needed to relax. Luxor was a lot of work, but everything in Aswan was so much more relaxed thanks to the helpful staff here at the resort. We want to extent our gratitude to Hanna who really made our dining experience wonderful. It can be hard to eat happily with a one year old and she went beyond what was expected. When we changed rooms not only were they helpful in the move, but they upgraded our room.It was a very great experience. Thank you Mohd el galad, Amira ,Yara, and Hamdi.

It has been so great to stay with the Pyramisa island resort far away from the pollution and noise.1st I would love to thank the great team which is lead by the “SULTAN of ISLAND” Mr. Mohd El Gallad and the reception team Miss Amira & Yara. Adding Also the service team Mr. Hamdi and Hanna in dining. Thank you so much! They are all serving in that place very well.Second point: I Would like for the owners to invest in more activities on this island, especially for children, and to improve certain modern amenities that could use an update.

I had the pleasure of staying at Pyramisa Isis Island in 2007, and was so pleasantly surprised by the entire setup. It had a long winding pool and large grounds with a lot of quirky features. The rooms were exquisite and the bathrooms likewise.Though we only stayed for one day, I recall the tastefully decorated rooms to this day, with their antique decor and traditional printed sheets.I have fond memories of this place.

The hotel location is super awesome, the facilities and general atmosphere is super awesome, staff is great ...but ..the service is below average, cleaning is below 1 star. We paid big room rate on the hope to enjoy the tranquility and the Nile view from this 5 star hotel and we were surprised by old dirty room and the water taps and light in bathroom were not working ..the management offered us to move to another room which were too small comparing to the not working room and the internet was not working all our stay in the hotel. The view and the island itself is very unique.... I cant say how much I loved the serenity and beauty of the Nile. The services are a bit slow... We stayed as bed and breakfast for two nights. So we had a chance to see the whole place. Went walking around the island I the morning. Our room had a terrace with a great view... So staying at the room was also enjoyable. The breakfast wasnt as good as expected. But was fine. The downside to the hotel is that there is no activity to do on the island other than going around. Its huge but not used.At night they brought two Nubian guys to sing and play music, they were OK but I thought it could have been better.Only one elevator was working, so for the huge building with over a hundred rooms it was ridiculous. Very slow and even it broke down once.. So we had to carry stroller up and down the stairs.

We stayed here for a night during our one day stay in Aswan. Its located on a beautiful island. We took a boat ride from the banks to get to the hotel. The only issue we had was the front desk couldnt find our bookings. Luckily our tour operator was with us and made sure the confusion was sorted. We got a room with a beautiful sea view. Its just so quiet here, ull love it. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Rooms were big, neat and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and were sad that we had to leave in a day.In d evening we walked around the whole property, its a huge property. They have a 24 hour in house restaurant. Highly recommended for the price

When I asked the hotel manager he first said that they had a central boiler problem, but later said its an issue to of our room and need to transfer us again. Then we waited in the room for 10 min no one came to help us do the transfer. Its a huge disappointment for a hotel charging 100$ dollars per night. The furnitures are old and the bathroom looks dirty.

First, they should definitely change the name of the hotel. Second, the staff were very unprofessional. I made a call to reception to request for something and was told they would send someone to help. I then had to call again twice before finally getting any service. They made me wait for an hour. The room itself was fine but nothing special - a very old hotel and the amenities should be updated.

The best part about the Pyramisa is the wonderful staff - they are very warm, helpful people. The food is top-notch for all meals. Rooms are clean and the views of the Nile is nice. Getting here by boat (provided by hotel) is quick and fun. There are at least two pools here but only one was filled; that said, the pool that was usable was very clean and nice for swimming. The hotel is showing some wear from time and the drop in tourism. On the fifth floor hot water took a long time to reach the faucet (if ever) so some showers were in tepid water. The AC more or less kept up with the heat, but we did come to Egypt in June. I recommend a stay.

Currently at the Pyramisa ISIS Island Hotel and Spa. Property is nice (although it has a 80s vibe to it). Our Check In was was completely messed up. We were asked to wait several hours (15 mins at a time), then given the wrong rooms. This happened to several guests. All room service food that has been ordered so far, has been delivered cold even after speaking to the F & B Manager. Half the food for breakfast was either undercooked or stale. So far this property is not overly impressive or of high standards. Attitude of the staff is quite sad and burdensome instead of happy and friendly like everywhere else we have stayed in Eygpt so far.Update:After writing the above we had lunch. The staff was vacuuming around us. The vacuum cleaner exploded and the rubbish went into our food. We were not offered anything except to order and pay for another meal.Room service did not attend fo our room until 730pm.Check out took 30 minutes due to incompetent staff who could not understand that the room was already paid for. Or perhaps they were trying to scam us, who knows!!!And the final situation was that the driver who was taking us to the airport came 45 minutes late. We are on our way now but will likely not make the flight.Never would I recomend this property to anyone and all I can say is buyer beware.

First of all this hotel has an excellent site location in an island in the Nile with gorgeous view of the Nile River from the rooms. Extremely friendly and very kind staff. Food was not their strong point, same dinner was repeated for a couple of nights yet it was tasty. One of their major drawbacks was that water bottles and any free drinks were not included in the full board package neither in the rooms nor in the lunch and dinner times which was quite odd. One of their transit boats had a faulty motor and you can smell the exhaust fumes all around, yet the sailor was extremely helpful and friendly. Room service was always on time yet they didnt change the bedsheets everyday. All in all it was a good experience.

Lets start, the Hotel isnt terrible. Unfortunately it requires quite a bit of renovation to get it back up to 3 or 4 star ratings. The showers pressure is good, hot water is not. It takes about 10minutes for the water to become luke warm at best.Rooms were clean, but then again the sound REALLY travels in the hotel. External windows / sliding door does not seal at all. Howling winds, external activity etc will be heard in your room.Breakfast was good, restaurant needs a good cleaning. If you do not like smoking, well this hotel mixes smoking and non smoking in the same areaa (large but not helping). The ferry was relatively consistent, but can also do with a bit of an overhaul. Note the ferry is the small boat type, common on the river (Not the nice big one ypu might see at the Quay).

I like this place because of:- location, the hotel located on an island on the great Nile of Aswan.- price, the price of stay in this hotel is valuable to the service.- location, again about location, you can easily reach the place, as it is famous and in the city centre.- location on the island gives you very nice views to the city and the west bank of beautiful Aswan.I already stayed there many times with my tourists ( I work as a freelance tourist guide)Every time my tourists have good reviews on the stay there.ButThe hotel is old and needs more care from the owners. In this case I think the hotel will be more valuable to them.

Stayed for 3 nights with a reservation through Booking. I think it might be cheaper to book with an agency. I came before 2011 so I had high expectations but the place seems a bit abandoned. Theyre having some renovations done right now. The rooms were very clean but when u look at small details u understand that theyve gone through some tough times. The breakfast is acceptable but the dinner isnt worth 280 pounds. If you want to do some sightseeing, dont take the offers of the transportation bureau inside the hotel (way Way too expensive: for ex. they offered to take us to visit the Isis temple on the island for 600 pounds without the tickets, and we got there on our own for 275, which is still expensive). Overall, staying on an island away from the city is very relaxing but a bit overpriced. The service and the people working there are generally nice and helpful. The receptionists on the other hand arent all that helpful: it depends on whos working. They city and the hotels are generally in bad shape since the revolution. But the monuments are totally worth the visit!Tip: have some tea/coffee on the terrace of the Old Cataract Hotel before the sunset ;)

I don’t usually give 5 stars ratings but this hotel and resort definitely deserves it. Lovely spacious rooms, clean, well designed (the AC was old but functional). beyond courteous, helpful, welcoming staff, that goes for every single member of staff I had the pleasure of dealing with (to be perfectly honest, as was every Aswani man, woman and child). The breakfast buffet was lovely, lots of variety, well prepared and catering to every need. Swimming pools with even greater views, huge walking areas a joy in their own, an amazing experience for the whole family, from my 5y.o. This hotel has seen better days, and will do for one night but dont expect much. It is considered a 5 star resort..... According to the Egyptian govt, but thats based on other random points I dont remember or agree with. We stayed in the main building and it was OK. Everything was just so outdated and the room was dingy, not necessarily dirty but could use a refurb. Not sure if they have written or king beds as we were under the impression it would be a queen but it was instead two full beds, or twins whichever is smaller. It is worth the five stars only for the view and location, but the hotel itself needs more care... Towels and blankets are old and have untemovable stains... Carpentry of some doors is outdated...Breakfast is good

Average hotel. They have beer and theyre chicken sandwich is bomb. Didnt have pizza at the time of writing this and the larger pool was closed. Seems like this place has tons of potential just not enough traffic.

This is not a 5 star hotel. This is a single star at best. Horrible rooms, no ac, no wifi outside the main building and finally the worst food south of luxor.

Its a perfect location in aswan in isis island ... you can enjoy the beauty and the calm of being on an island in the river nile and yet you are only 5 minutes away from the city ... there is a boat provided by the hotel to go to and from the city all day long... the hotel has various spots to sit and relax and just enjoy the scenery and the natural beauty of the island.... service is adequate .. there is room to improve their services and update their menus too ... sun roof caffee is a great spot but unfortunately the menu is very limited .. the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of foods and beverages .... but the highlight of the hotel is the location .. the scenery .. the gardens and the natural beauty of the island and its surroundings
