In 1953, the association joined the International Federation of Veterans, based in Paris, and the association established the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Center in Agouza in 1954 to prepare individuals with disabilities from among the veterans, and a factory for artificial limbs was established. In 1960, the association succeeded in forming the Arab Union of Veterans, which includes all similar societies throughout the Arab world, to achieve full care for veterans.
