Sit down upstairs. Bathroom. Fans and open windows. We had breaded and deep fried white meat chicken strips, rice, tiny side salad. We enjoyed the food. Good service by the staff.

Great place with Egypt’s popular Koshery dish. It helps the menu is also in English and the prices are clear. You must try Tom and Basal if you’re in Cairo.Ask to be seated as they tend to be hidden in the back.

Just another koushary place, nothing is that special about it except the prices, the same dishes in my place around are lower by many levels. The place is air conditioned and having fast service and clean one.

Wasnt such pleasant experience. Customer service there is not quite good. The price is higher than the food quality and the service provided. The experience didnt match with the brand name and its propaganda. Wont repeat it again.

Tom and Basal is not a place where tourist usually go, is a very simple local establishment for teenage Egyptians and families. The Koshary is great and surprisingly cheap. I tried koshary in three different places and here is where I liked it most.

Very Tasty Koshari, better than we expected hence the 5 stars, many locations, a must try for Koshari lovers and whoever wants to try it for the first time.

The best koshary place on this planet. Period. I would visit Cairo again just to have another one of those heavenly dishes.

I visited Talaat Harb branch, the place is small, the food is delicious, the workers are respectful, and the prices are very reasonable

The place is very small and you can feel the silence in it, but it is like eating very sweet koshari and the size is large and enough. As for the rice with milk, it is frankly speaking.

Tom and Basal, their food is rich in definitions. It is one of the best koshary shops in Egypt. They have a reputable name, the service is good, the food is hot, and the place is clean.

A favorite food restaurant for Egyptians and others is a dish with rice and black lentils mixed well, then pasta is added to them, then they are all mixed after adding the red sauce and onions (fried, and also roses) and hummus, then if you want to add a mixture called Al-Daqqa (lemon, vinegar and garlic). and some spices) and chili, which are two types of ivory chili and chili oil, and the latter is only used by the person who loves the very autumn thing. Then you mix all this and eat well and heal... A tip after which you must drink a cup of hot tea in any cafe or iced soda water... Kosher, if I’m right, is the name of a local fast food restaurant. They put short pasta, chickpeas, lentils, heavily fried onions (to the point of chips), something else and a bowl of tomato sauce in a bowl. Pour the sauce, stir and pop. As for me, it tastes very good! The locals gobble up on both cheeks and praise! Everywhere has its own tastes! .. 🤪😎🤷‍♂️
